Description **Job Description:**



The Wholesale Credit Quality Assurance Executive is responsible for all QA programs and QA initiatives within Wholesale Credit globally. The leader is the primary interface with Senior Management and other Control Partners (e.g. Credit Risk, Ops Risk, Compliance, Internal Audit). The Wholesale Credit QA function includes over 30 programs and is growing. The programs are reported on a monthly, quarterly, or semi-annual basis, depending upon the program. The team’s pipeline includes over 10 programs that are currently under consideration to be added to the portfolio. The team is located in multiple cities across the United States with geographic hubs in Charlotte, Dallas, Atlanta, Jacksonville, and Phoenix. There is a portfolio of over 10 Strategic Initiatives underway, focused on automation, data QA, and management reporting.



**Key Responsibilities:**



+ Oversee and actively manage a portfolio of over 30 QA programs across Wholesale Credit

+ Manage a team of ~ 100 QA professionals

+ In partnership with internal Technology and Data teammates, establish and deploy automation solutions that will create capacity, streamline the QA process, and enhance our reporting capabilities

+ Manage three core QA governance routines (QA Council, Leveraged Obligor Council and Data Council)

+ Actively participate in the Wholesale Credit Control Forum, providing a detailed analysis and overview of the QA results, including remediation plans and root cause drivers. Connect the dots with the appropriate process owners to remediate red QA results

+ Liaise with the Wholesale Credit Regulatory office, Issues and Exam Management office, and other internal functions to support the testing and QA requirements to resolve issues

+ Deliver on a set of Strategic Initiatives spanning across all aspects of the QA end-to-end process

+ Enhance team performance through effective coaching, development, and performance management activities



The leader reports directly to the Wholesale Credit Business Infrastructure, Controls, and Regulatory Executive.



**Required Skills:**



+ Minimum 6-8 years of quality assurance, credit process controls, risk and/or project management experience in large scale financial services companies and/or consulting

+ Possesses an understanding of new technologies and how to leverage them to drive efficiency

+ Maintains a comfort level with data and analytical/technical tools

+ Strategic thinker, able to articulate and implement the QA strategy across all of Wholesale Credit and appropriately delegate responsibility within the team

+ Able to build a team and drive them to generate capacity, productivity, and flexibility

+ Proactive and “no surprises” approach in communicating issues and strength in sustaining independent reviews

+ Proven analytic and problem solving skills with the ability to analyze and develop unique solutions to business issues

+ Self-motivated individual capable of adapting to change, managing multiple tasks and continuously evaluating priorities to lead tasks/projects to an on time completion

+ Ability to articulate complex issues and themes to stakeholders. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

+ Problem solver who can manage through ambiguity successfully. Strong partnering and relationship-building skills

+ Ability to connect the dots and make sense of information across multiple data points upstream/downstream that may not be easily noticeable

+ Knowledge of sampling and testing methodologies
