Amgen's 10 - 12 week internship program offers meaningful project experiences that impact patient's lives. This internship provides the opportunity for executive and social networking events and to participate in community volunteer projects while providing a competitive compensation.

Limited relocation housing and/or miscellaneous allowance may be available for eligible candidates.

Under supervision of Privacy Office the intern will organize and analyze all privacy-related audit observations from 2019 & Q1 2020 and build review identifying trends, including suggestions for improvement opportunities or training necessary. In addition, based on results working with Privacy Office Staff, the intern will identify targeted proposal/next steps for improvements. This internship project will culminate with a presentation of found opportunities and next steps for potential programmatic improvement.

The intern will support final phase for trade compliance audit framework by embedding controls into audit framework. This will include compiling identified observations, as well as, developing a training framework for auditors to improve their trade compliance acumen. This internship project will culminate with a presentation that identifies the priorities for trade compliance framework which will result in better programmatic support during relevant audits.

Basic Qualifications

Amgen requires that all individuals applying for an undergraduate internship or an undergraduate co-op assignment at Amgen must meet the following criteria:

18 years or older

Currently enrolled in a full time Bachelor's Degree program from an accredited college or university with a 3.0 minimum GPA or equivalent

Completion of one year of study from an accredited college or university prior to the internship commencing

Enrolled in a full time Bachelor's or Combined Bachelor's/Master's degree program following the potential internship or co-op assignment with an accredited college or university

Must not be employed at the time the internship starts

Preferred Qualifications

Degree concentration in Humanities, Philosophy, Political Sciences or related fields

Ability to work in matrixed environment, good interpersonal, collaboration and facilitation skills

Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Word

Ability to summarize analytical data

Strong written and oral communication skills

Familiar with privacy principles
