The Trust Administrator will work with trust officers in the administration of trusts, estate settlement, guardianships, individual retirement, investment agency, and custodial accounts while ensuring compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as, all applicable state and federal banking regulations.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Administers on-going account relationships, including grantor trusts, guardianship estates, irrevocable trust, special needs trusts, investment management and custody accounts.
  • Open and close account files in accordance with department policies and procedures.
  • Prepare client profiles and investment policy statements.
  • Gather all assets and work with operations group to transfer and book assets.
  • Advise assigned portfolio manager as to cash needs, plans of distribution and investment objectives during the period of administration.
  • Administer smaller, less complex relationships independently. Work with trust officers on more complex relationships.
  • Process non-recurring disbursements and deposits with proper coding.
  • Prepare guardianship accountings pursuant to county standards.
  • Communicate with clients.
  • Greet visiting clients and professionals as needed and assist in the organization of departmental events.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.
