Loyola University Maryland has an opening for a Technology Trainer. This position reports to the Assistant Director of Support Management.The Technology Trainer is responsible for: designing, developing and delivering technology training programs for the entire Loyola community; working with various departments within Technology Services to determine training needs of the university; addressing the various learning styles of Loyola constituents by ensuring a variety of training avenues are available, such as in-person classes, online learning and tutorials, one-on-one sessions and knowledge articles.

Job duties include but are not limited to:
1) Design and develop technical training programs to educate students, faculty and staff on the use of technology products and solutions.
2) Create instructor and student materials to deliver in various formats such as presentations, classroom courses, one-on-one training, knowledge articles and videos. Develop well written content, efficiently communicate material to the end-user, and effectively manage time allocated for training.
3) Manage the Technology Training Center's website to ensure all current training materials and schedules are up to date.
4) Review course feedback surveys to identify areas of improvement and requests for additional training. Assist with creating/deploying/analyzing needs assessment surveys when requested to determine where additional training needs to be developed.
5) Produce training schedules, classroom agendas, and course content according to program objectives.
6) Participate in project meetings as the training center representative.Recommend, design, develop and deliver training program to ensure successful adoption of new systems and technology
.7) Develop and deliver surveys on existing training programs and future topics to ensure Technology Services is delivering high quality training that meets the end-user's needs. discussing training needs with people across campus.

Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3 to 5 years of experience designing, developing and delivering technology training programs.
- Experience working in higher education and understanding of university processes and procedures.
- Able to quickly learn and understand new technologies.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must be able to support the University's goals for institutional diversity, as well as the goals and values of a Catholic, Jesuit education.
