Position Title: Team Lead Electrical/Mechanical Department

Reports To: Shop Supervisor

Lead the Electrical/Mechanical Department in assigned projects, report schedule progress and conflicts.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Delegate work effectively based on electrical/mechanical work board.
  • Ensure budgeted hours are being met for every project.
  • Constantly check workmanship of all direct reports.
  • Meet completion deadlines based on production schedule.
  • Complete any applicable quality control documentation.
  • Sustain high level of productivity.
  • Assign and re-assign tasks as necessary to direct reports.
  • Ensure completion of electrical and mechanical outfitting.
  • Ensure alignment of heavy-duty industrial motors and gearboxes.


Education: High school, trade school, or higher degree is preferred, however prior equivalent and training will be considered.

Experience: Working knowledge of reading engineering drawings. Prior experience leading groups of manufacturing personnel. Ability to interpret electrical schematics and electrical assemblies. Ability to layout/install machinery on overhead cranes based on engineered designs.

Other Requirements: English language fluency in reading, writing, and speaking. Constant attention to detail. Safety oriented. Physical strength to lift and carry 50lbs occasionally.
