The Survey Technician is responsible for the preparation and production of boundary, topographic and physical feature location survey plans, subdivision plans, and land preservation surveys as well as being able to help in the field work with the potential to being able to perform Party Chief field work.

<p>The Survey Technician is responsible for the preparation and production of boundary, topographic and physical feature location survey plans, subdivision plans, and land preservation surveys as well as being able to help in the field work with the potential to being able to perform Party Chief field work.</p> <img src="https://analytics.click2apply.net/v/m68klKsbj2aJTKlqs4Dmz"> <br/><br/><p> </p> <p><strong>Essential Functions & Responsibilities:</strong></p> <p>Prepare boundary, topographic, as-built and other types of survey plans</p> <p>Create surfaces and produce elevation contours for topographic surveys</p> <p>Prepare metes and bounds descriptions, description exhibits, as-built record drawings, etc.</p> <p>Report pertinent progress information to Surveying Services Manager</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Essential Qualifications:</strong></p> <p>High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent</p> <p>Survey or Design drafting experience in Civil 3d, field experience a plus</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Desired Qualifications:</strong></p> <p>Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree in Drafting and Design Technology</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:</strong></p> <p>Organized and detail oriented with proactive approach to work responsibilities</p> <p>Exceptional oral and written communication skills including the ability to compose letters, transmittals and complex reports</p> <p>Ability to interact with other professionals and public officials</p> <p>Demonstrates the highest degree of ethical behavior and honesty</p> <p>Ability to work independently or as part of a project team</p> <p>Ability to understand complex problems and to collaborate with others to explore alternative solutions</p> <p>Familiarity with the technical basics of land surveying, as well as with a variety of the commonly used principles, practices and procedures of land surveying projects</p> <p>Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, AutoCAD (preferably Civil 3D)</p> <p>Ability to understand field notes/data, plotting deeds and easements, and point management</p> <p> <br /><br /><br /></p> <p>We will not sponsor applicants for work visas</p> <p> </p> <p>Gilmore & Associates, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer that provides a competitive compensation structure including a generous benefits plan and Employee Stock Ownership Plan.</p><p>PI113443373</p>
