Responsibilities

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

  • Supervises the management of the Company's real estate portfolio, insurance renewals and accruals, utility contracts and other accounting and reporting requirements to provide support to the Accounting/ Finance leadership and CFO.
  • Tracks and monitors key aspects of the Company's real estate portfolio including leased facilities.
  • Reviews new lease agreements with respective departments and legal.
  • Reviews and monitors compliance of rental and operating expense charges accordance to lease agreements.
  • Coordinates and completes insurance renewals, including the review of replacement values of property.
  • Monitors changes in the workers' compensation liability by gaining an understanding of the changes in claim development and status.
  • Creates and monitors allocations of insurance expenses based on appropriate measures.
  • Monitors, reviews and negotiates utility contracts as needed.
  • Supports annual reporting, including assisting external auditors and answering auditor inquiries.
  • Participates in the implementation of emerging guidance and changing regulations, as needed.
  • Contributes to the implementation and updating of Company accounting policies, as needed.
  • Expert of SAP accounting systems and other key modules of the organization's operations that have a material effect on the accounting results.

  • Judgement is required in resolving complex problems based on experience.
  • Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers. Frequent contact with external contractors/vendors.



Qualifications

Expertise: Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education/Etc

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 04-06 years related experience required.
  • Applicable industry/professional certification preferred.
  • Occasional business travel required
  • Regular and predictable attendance

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
