Discovery's Digital Media team offers the excitement of building new digital streaming services with the backing of Discovery’s well-funded and iconic legacy business. We work fast, nimble, and have fun developing new, innovative and immersive digital products, platforms, services and experiences for iconic brands, including Discovery Channel, TLC, Animal Planet, HGTV, Food Network, OWN, and Travel Channel.

Opportunity
Within the Product & Brand team, the Senior Production Manager supports the Senior Director, Product & Brand Creative, in developing and overseeing the execution of the network’s digital marketing strategy, with an emphasis on social outreach. The role requires a combination of strategic, creative, project management and analytical skills to go along with an ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives, partner agencies and talent. The goal is to ideate and execute all aspects of the production of best-in-class, story-driven, heartfelt digital video and social marketing content.



Responsibilities

1. Define and streamline global production and distribution workflows to maximize the efficient output of top-quality digital marketing and sales creative.
2. Lead cross-functional teams in the thoughtful implementation of multiple concurrent high-profile projects.
3. Guide stakeholders in marketing, sales, legal, distribution, product and programming to ensure that plans are integrated and informed by the priorities and policies of all departments.
4. Manage external agencies and partners that supplement Discovery Networks efforts in content development, co-branded partnerships, reporting and community management.
5. Manage and test new customer acquisition programs.
6. Lead compliance with brand style and tone of voice guidelines for all digital campaigns.
7. Ensure that digital user journey is relevant and engaging.
8. Supervising and managing all aspects of marketing content creation, which includes production, scheduling, staffing, budgeting, post-production.
9. Run deliverables and status meetings, schedules.



Qualifications

* Experience with analytics implementation, documentation, requirements/ user stories, testing and analysis
* Expert in organizing projects and team management
* Excellent producer skills; have the ability to see the large picture as well as get into the weeds of creative projects.
* Strong background in the building and operating one of the following types of products: mobile, web based or connected TV based.
* At least 10 years of Project Management experience in a digital media field.
* Demonstrated ability to work on a diverse scope of projects requiring detailed analysis, creative/practical problem solving, and sound judgment.
* Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal

* Must have the legal right to work in the United States
