Position Summary
The Network Administrator will hold primary responsibility for day-to-day operation of the Revance network. Applicants should have multi-discipline experience, with capability to perform server and security engineering functions when needed. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated engineer with experience in highly regulated environment, including delivering and supporting infrastructure in compliance with regulations, such as PCI, HIPAA, GDPR, CCPRA, SOX, CDC, FDA CFR Part 11, Annex 11, etc.
The Network Administrator will report to the Director, IT Operations. Primary functions include maintenance, support, security monitoring, configuration management, documentation, and delivering networking components of information technology projects related to Revance Lab/Manufacturing networks, Revance Offices, and Cloud services. This position may be offered as an on-premise role in Newark, CA, and temporarily Working Remotely.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Education
Preferred:
BA/BS degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Science/Mathematics or related field
Certifications from Cisco, Palo Alto, Aruba, HPE or relevant network management-focused certifying bodies
Experience
Minimum Required:
Solid understanding of Network design, implementation, management (including security)
3+ Years of Network administration experience
Preferred:
3+ years managing networks in a heavily regulated change management environment

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Implement, and manage of Revance networks across multiple sites, including R&D and Manufacturing secure networks.
- Implement and follow standards and process for network review, maintenance, and updates.
- Maintain and enhance IT security posture of Revance networks and adherence to documented standards & practices.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for network-related incidents.
- Collaborate with peers as a member on projects responsible for network design and implementation.
- Assist with Security and System administrative tasks as needed.
- Develop and maintain thorough documentation of Revance networks.
- Participate in audits and security assessments as a Revance network Subject Matter Expert.
- Work with IT leadership to further improve security of Revance technology platforms and information assets.
Education
Preferred:

- Experience administering network & systems management, configuration, event correlation, and security/compliance tools

Preferred:
- Working knowledge of Network devices including Cisco, Meraki, HPE and Aruba devices
- Working knowledge of Firewalls including Cisco ASA and Palo Alto Firewalls
- Working knowledge of network monitoring, performance, configuration tools such as SolarWinds
- Experience with GxP environments and GAMP 5 qualification processes.
- Ability to foster and cultivate relationships within and outside the IT department.
- Working experience with pharmaceutical regulations such as Part 11 and/or Annex 11
