The Bone and Cardiovascular Business Unit (BCBU) is currently seeking a Sr. Associate Strategic Planning and Operations to support the franchise budget coordination with our BCBU business owners (brand and sales leads) and maintain a consolidated BCBU cross-franchise outside expense budget.

Responsibilities include supporting Fiscal Year budget and forecasting quarterly expense targets, tracking spend towards target, and working with each business owner within our BU to manage the roll-up of all Latest Estimate (LE) accruals. This individual will coordinate with Finance, Accounts Payable, the Brand Teams, and Sales to ensure consolidated reporting for the BCBU. This individual will also serve as a liaison between Finance and the BU business owners for outside expenses and train brand and internal business partner leads on how to submit for PO requests, complete an accrual and troubleshoot various issues.

This position will:
  • Facilitate timely, transparent and accurate management of the business unit's >$400M outside expenses
  • Facilitate the quarterly LE submissions and GM OPEX reports in partnership with finance for the BCBU
  • Execute the PO process, which includes opening requisitions and tracking invoices
  • Train new business partners on BCBU budget and PO processes
  • Serve as a point of contact regarding budget questions/issues with our business partners
  • Enter contract amendments and renewals in C3 system
  • W-9 follow-up activities for withheld speaker payments
  • Vendor number creation and updates


Basic Qualifications:

Master's degree OR Master's degree completed by start date

OR

Bachelor's degree and 2 years of finance, project management and/or commercial operations experience

OR

Associate's degree and 6 years of finance, project management and/or commercial operations experience

OR

High school diploma / GED and 8 years of finance, project management and/or commercial operations experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of accounting, product marketing, advertising, and relevant finance related regulations and corporate compliance standards
  • Working knowledge of SAP (including self-service reporting) and MyBuy (Ariba procurement system)
  • Developing and building effective client and project team relationships
  • Attention to details and quality
  • Excellent project management and coordination/collaboration skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team, excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills
  • Initiative for process improvement
  • Ability to successfully prioritize a diverse workload to meet deadlines and client expectations
