Amgen is seeking a talented Human Resources Professional Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging (DI&B) to further advance our work in these areas. This position provides an excellent entry point to quickly learn Amgen, and the HR function, while providing support and innovation to Amgen's diversity and inclusion priorities.

Project support responsibilities include but are not limited to: creating and maintaining project plans and timelines, tracking budget and resources, identifying and resolving issues, support in all aspects of development and facilitation of team work sessions. Types of projects may include:
  • Serving as project support for business process interventions for Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging
  • Planning and coordination of internal and external workshops, programs and meetings
  • DI&B Communications planning


Responsibilities Include :
  • Understanding and application of Project Management principles, concepts, theories and standards
  • Work is guided by objectives of the project or assignment
  • Consistent exercise of discretion and independent judgment
  • Ensuring the quality of the task/services/information provided
  • Provides input to decisions for project supported


Basic Qualifications

Master's degree

OR

Bachelor's degree and 2 years Human Resources or Project Management experience

OR

Associate's degree and 6 years Human Resources or Project Management experience

OR

High school diploma / GED and 8 related Human Resources or Project Management experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including ability to coordinate between diverse cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated comfort with ambiguity and organizational change
  • Ability to understand, balance, and articulate both tactical and long-term planning issues
  • Strong quantitative, analytical (technical and business), and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize across multiple projects/tasks and handle diverse assignments simultaneously
  • Ability to establishes working relationships with others outside area of expertise and drive impact through successful execution and adherence to established project / process methodology and own work product
  • Strong verbal and written communication combined with organizational skills and cross-cultural sensitivity
