Now, about the job:  What you will do at Rampart as a Showroom Administrator?

  • Assisting showroom department with day to day organization including customer quotes, spec books, order status and appointments

  • Serving and making our customers feel welcome by greeting, answering phones and resolving question

  • Analyzing data given by showroom team

  • Inputting data into bid prep software

  • Creating and assisting with customer specification books

    • Delivering technical information to contractors/customers from specification books

    • Creating product images and data for applicable specification book

    • Navigating and searching products in system

    • Entering data for customer quotes

    • Become a subject matter expert: navigation software, searching, tips/tricks all with high accuracy

  • Sustaining quote logs, appointments, and order statuses

    • Reviewing, maintaining and following up on appointments and orders throughout customer journey

    • Tracking quotes and orders on a daily basis

    • Liaison between customer and showroom associate when it pertains to order needs and status

    • Maintain communication with sales team throughout quote/order life cycle until completion

  • Maintaining showroom literature by reviewing and learning current product brochures, flyers and magazines to ensure all information is current and accurate

  • Consistently checking displays to ensure product is adequately stocked

  • Managing visual appointment board by gathering appointments from showroom team and calendar

  • Implementing and sustaining organization within the showroom

  • Building and maintaining relationships with showroom sales team and customers alike

  • High level of communication and coordinating with others

  • Task driven with a high sense of accuracy and consistency

  • Understanding of and the ability to interpret specifications, drawings and other construction documents

  • Time management in order to prioritize/organize and track details

  • Understand and following detailed and written and oral instructions

  • Receiving guidance in a constructive manner

Youll need to have:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Prior involvement with customer service and administrative duties

  • The preferred candidate will have 2-3 years of clerical experience

  • High school Diploma or equivalent
