This critical position is responsible for working as part of a team to develop and execute the U.S. healthcare provider (HCP) marketing plans and programs for Repatha® - a high priority brand for Amgen. You will have the responsibility of collaborating on multiple initiatives from concept through execution to help drive capabilities for brand success today and into the future. The Senior Marketing Associate will be responsible for the project management, implementation, analysis (including measurement and reporting) of a variety of strategies, tactics, and educational activities geared towards Healthcare professionals, including but not limited to: sales materials, Congress sponsorships, samples, and peer-to-peer program. This position will not lead direct reports. However, it will require agency management and cross-functional team leadership.

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Support field team to meet Brand objectives and drive adoption of new patients
  • Project management for cross-functional work streams
  • Liaison with outside vendors and agencies to develop and execute projects
  • Champion continuous improvement and share best practices across the organization
  • Collaborate with key partners including: Consumer Marketing, Sales, Access, Corporate Communications, Operational teams, and market research (CS&A) to ensure harmony with programming across all customers
  • Handle the internal legal, regulatory, and medical review and approval of new materials to enable responsible and compliant consumer communications
  • Handle budgets and closely monitor performance, ensuring efficient delivery of all
  • Domestic travel up to 15%.


Basic Qualifications:

Master's degree

Or

Bachelor's degree and 2 years of marketing and/or sales experience

Or

Associate's degree and 6 years of marketing and/or sales experience

Or

High school diploma / GED and 8 years of marketing and/or sales experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of marketing experience
  • Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or medical sales
  • Understanding of Healthcare Industry
  • Demonstrated strength in project management, detail oriented and with a solution-oriented mentality
  • Creative and innovative, while also possessing analytical problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with agencies and publishers to develop and produce engaging creative and media plans
  • Strong bias for action and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to exercise excellent judgment and live up to the highest ethical standards
  • Excellent communication skills and self-awareness of leadership style
  • Ability to build positive relationships and collaborate optimally in a matrix organization
  • Proactive, results-oriented self-starter motivated by a challenging task
