The Senior Manager Information Systems, SAP Security and Compliance Lead will be based at the Amgen Capability Center in Tampa, Florida. The incumbent will be a seasoned and passionate technologist who will own the SAP Security team in the delivery of projects and operations, carrying out and improving processes and security controls to ensure company-wide compliance and ensure a secure SAP environment at Amgen. This leader will be a member of the ERP Platform Leadership Team responsible for system ownership and the roadmap of the SAP GRC solution, in close collaboration with Finance Controls, Internal and External Auditors, Technical Architects, and AMS Provider, ensuring that the SAP Security services are delivered in the most efficient and effective manner possible and following DevOps principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute engagements relevant to SAP GRC, SAP Controls, SAP security, and audits of SAP environments
  • Evaluate and continuously improve the design and efficiency of SAP controls throughout the applications life cycle
  • Lead technical tasks in the ERP landscape to achieve security and compliance programs
  • Drive and track remediation efforts resulting from internal audits and third-party audits including SOX, developing improved controls and automation
  • Management of ERP licenses, including annual audit, renewals, and true up
  • Supervise a team of SAP Security employees and AMS provider, overseeing their day to day activities and providing prioritization aligned with the organization goals
  • Accountable for role and accounts maintenance and risk analysis assessments in SAP
  • Ensure alignment of ERP to Amgen corporate, GMP and SOX compliance requirements, including periodic reviews and attestations
  • Mentor security team members and coach them in their career planning and development
  • Develop performance and training plan for each team member
  • Accountable for policies and procedures for IT controls in SAP systems

Basic Qualifications

Doctorate degree and 2 years of Information Systems experience

OR

Master's degree and 4 years of Information Systems experience

OR

Bachelor's degree and 6 years of Information Systems experience

OR

Associate's degree and 10 years of Information Systems experience

Or

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Information Systems experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in SAP Security Administration and leading SAP Security teams
  • Talent management, including career development plans and performance reviews
  • Able to establish effective interactions with key business constituents
  • Understanding of core business processes including: Order-To-Cash, Source-To-Pay, and Financial Close business process scenarios
  • Experience performing internal control reviews and risk assessments for SAP customers.
  • Experience in assessing an SAP implementation in the context of business controls, security, internal audit, or compliance context
  • Experience with implementation of SAP access management systems such as SAP Access Control or similar tools
  • Ability to build and continually strengthen relationships with teammates and partners
  • Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize, lead, and direct multi-functional teams to address and resolve issues
  • Vendor and Financial management in an Information Technology environment
  • Strong customer relationship management skills
  • Meaningful SAP Training and Certifications in SAP Security
  • Knowledge of security requirements and implementation in S/4HANA
