The Executive Human Resources Coordinator at Amgen is a part of the Talent Acquisition team and reports to the Lead of Executive Recruiting.

Responsibilities include:
  • Handles highly sensitive and confidential information regarding executive compensation, offer letters, promotions and internal movement
  • Draft and prepare all complex Executive Offer Letters language (both External and Internal) per collaboration with Recruiter and Compensation
  • Process all external and internal candidate offers in Workday
  • Build and complete the Executive Offer Checklist and Relocation Cost Estimate form for offer process as well as route the process relocation benefit for approval
  • Track candidate progress in Workday to support recruiter by processing background check as well as drug screen, attach checklists, run eligibility reports, submit mortgage subsidy and non-compete for legal review
  • Arrange and coordinate all New Hire On-boarding tasks for Executive Level New Hires (i.e. 1st day logistics, I-9 processing, etc.)
  • Manage all complex travel and logistics for Executive candidates, coordinate area and real estate tours with appropriate vendors
  • Maintain and record Excel spreadsheets of all Executive Agency Cost Reporting and Avoidance per quarter
  • Track all executive recruitment data and reports on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Any additional administrative or other activities that will help the executive recruiting team to be more proactive in their approach to search
  • Attend client calls as needed for follow up with candidates and other action items
  • Help in event planning such as congress/conference or event attendance by recruiter or sourcer

Basic Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree and 4 years of Human Resources or Talent Acquisition experience OR
  • High school diploma / GED and 6 years of Human Resources or Talent Acquisition experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Life sciences (Bio/Pharmaceutical) industry experience
  • Experience working in highly cross functional and matrixed corporate environment
  • Previous experience supporting talent acquisition or human resources teams
  • Project management experience; responsible for several time critical and confidential projects simultaneously
  • Able to flex to accommodate shifting priorities while supporting multiple team members
  • Sense of urgency, solution oriented and proactive mindset for process creation and execution
  • Relationship builder with internal stakeholders as well as external clients and vendors
  • Communicate and present information as recruitment process subject matter expert with administrative staff and cross functional partners
  • Work with senior level executives and exhibit sound judgment in complex situations
  • Independent and self-motivated; can work autonomously or with little direction when necessary
  • Efficient, organized and attention to detail to create best in class candidate experience and recruitment process
  • Demonstrates collaborative and team-oriented approach with colleagues in addition to being an active listener with a can do attitude with executive clients and requests
  • Proficient knowledge and use of Workday, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and collaboration tools such as SharePoint and BOX
