Role Summary

The Senior HR Business Partner plays a key role in helping to deploy our People Strategy by collaborating with HR leaders and business managers. This individual also contributes thought leadership to help develop and execute strategies and activities that promote organizational growth, innovation, and organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Coach and mentor at management and director level on people development programs, employee relations topics, and Company disciplinary processes.
  • Effectively navigate and coordinate the handling of employee relations issues.
  • Provide support and guidance to HR personnel, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions/issues arise.
  • Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to benefits & leave, disciplinary matters, disputes & investigations, performance & talent management, productivity, recognition & morale, occupational health & safety, and learning & development.
  • Proactively identify ways to create, improve, develop, and implement programs, policies, procedures, and guidelines that align our workforce with the strategic goals of the Company, as well as benchmarking the industry and beyond.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to provide guidance to department managers and directors in developing job descriptions that are consistent with Company standards and appropriately convey clear expectations.
  • Ensure compliance requirements are met through evaluation and execution of organizational and procedural measures.
  • Assess existing policies and procedures to ensure enforceability with existing and changing legal standards, development of additional policies and procedures to promote Company mission, objectives, and Employee satisfaction.
  • Conduct New Employee Onboarding and Orientation.
  • Assess needs and ensure adequate and effective training and development opportunities are provided that meet the organization's needs.
  • Research, recommend, and coordinate employee engagement activities and events.
  • Promote professionalism in communication and build trust across all levels of the organization as a representative of HR through meetings, written communications, and daily interactions with team members at every level.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience within medium and/or large size organizations.
  • Proficient computer, written, analytical, and verbal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA and/or JD
  • PHR Certification and/or SHRM Certification
