Amgen is seeking a highly motivated Senior Associate of Business Performance - Global Commercial Operations Functional Transformation Office (GCO-FTO) to join the GCO FTO team in our global headquarters in Thousand Oaks, CA. The Senior Associate will report to the Business Performance Senior Manager in GCO FTO and provide vital support for the Global Patient Support Program (PSP) processes as well as supporting various projects within the GCO FTO.This role will interact with a wide range of leadership and staff across Amgen.

Responsibilities of the Senior Associate of Business Performance - Global Commercial Operations Functional Transformation Office include:

Global Patient Support Program Support:
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the Global PSP business processes, provide support to cross-functional PSP stakeholders
  • Serve as central Point of Contact for business process questions from the business, across all regions
  • Ensure implementation of process changes, including updates to SharePoint site content and other controlled documents and training materials
  • Collect feedback from business on process and systems, and partner to streamline
  • Identify improvement and enhancement opportunities for the processes and tools
  • Oversee SharePoint site administration, ensuring materials are kept up to date and promoting alignment across regions through forums for best practice sharing
  • Maintain compliance workflow system, including generation of reports and periodic review of roles
  • Escalate compliance issues to BPO and ensure successful execution of risk mitigation strategies
  • Tracking and flagging compliance issues as well as executing risk-mitigation strategies


GCO FTO Project Support:
  • Provide functional and cross-functional initiative support and work with teams to solve business problemsusing the Results Delivery Office processes and toolkit.
  • Provides project management support as necessary
  • Provide tracking and reporting of project status as agreed upon by transformation governance and leadership


Basic Qualifications:

Master's degree
OR
Bachelor's degree and 2 years of commercial and/or project management experience
OR
Associate's degree and 6 years of commercial and/or project management experience
OR
High school diploma / GED and 8 years of commercial and/or project management experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of commercial and/or project management experience
  • Excellent Excel/ PowerPoint skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate cross-functionally in an organization
  • Energetic, detailed oriented, highly motivated with a "can do" outlook.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in in ambiguous situations and team environment
  • The ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
