    Sodexo is seeking an experienced, motivated Food Retail Manager 3 for Northern Arizona University, a Sodexo premier campus account located in beautiful Flagstaff, AZ, 2 hours north of Phoenix and 4 hours south of Las Vegas. Our Campus Dining Operations oversees 27 food locations including 2 resident dining, catering, a fine dining restaurant, concessions and various retail restaurants with a mix of national, Sodexo and local brands.  This Retail Manager 3 will oversee 5 retail locations with an annual revenue volume of $3.2M.  Sodexo at NAU has a dynamic, innovative team of managers, supervisors and hourly staff that serve over 20,000 students a day in a fast moving, challenging and exciting environment. 


    The successful candidate will

    • be a team first individual who enjoys being engaged in the day to day operations of a fast pace, high volume retail business.
    • 3 + years prior experience working with national food retail brands and standards in a university or food court environment preferred.
    • have proven experience with cash handling procedures, POS systems and able to successfully train staff.
    • Be highly focused on customer service, employee engagement and experience in a union environment.
    • Have experience with labor costings, scheduling and employee training.

    Position Summary

    Responsible for food quality & customer service in an operation that may have branded concepts or other retail offerings. Directs the work of hourly and supervisory food service workers, as well as other managers.
    Key Duties
    - Ensures there is a zero harm mindset for ourselves, our customers, our food & employees.
    - Directs daily operations of food quality & customer service in a retail food operation that may include branded concepts ensuring that employees have appropriate equipment, supplies and resources.
    - Manages cash handling protocols & control procedures according to Sodexo policies.
    - Maintains client satisfaction for food quality & customer service.
    - Accountable for the execution of service quality by maintaining the highest level of delivery.
    - Supervises day-to-day work activities of food service workers, supervisors & managers. 




    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
    Basic Management Experience - 2 years
    Basic Functional Experience – 1 year of work experience in concessions, retail sales, or store operations
