Director of a low-fee, outpatient, community serving training clinic that is part of the PsyD program at CIIS.

Provides general oversight of all Psychological Services Center operations including:
-Supervision of administrative staff
- Liaison with the PsyD program administrators, faculty, and staff
- Responsible for the work of current PSC trainees, first-year pre-practicum students, and post-doctoral students (2-4 students)
- Administration of the PSC budget
- Develop and implement the clinical internship program for PSC-Wellness Services,
- Liaison with PsyD Director of Clinical Training
- Meet with Clinical Training Committee of PsyD Program
- Provide group supervision to trainees and to coordinate supplemental training
- Reports to the Chair of the PsyD department and is responsible for the overall vision and administration of the PSC.



Job Requirements:



PhD or PsyD Clinical Psychology required. California licensed psychologist with BOP licensure required (applicants license eligible may be considered). Prior outpatient counseling clinic and supervisory experience preferred.
1. Knowledge of current ethical, legal, clinical, and training issues relevant to higher education mental health.
2. Demonstrated skills in the application of student development theories.
3. Proven capability of providing the highest standard of strength-based treatment to a multicultural community.
4. Experience in program development and evaluation
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Experienced at effective outreach programming development and outcomes assessment
6. Demonstrated ability to work well within a multicultural, diverse community, including expertise working with multi-cultural populations (a spectrum of race, gender, ability, class, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, and age).
7. Proficiency in oral and written communication skills, public speaking and leading group discussions
8. Ability to establish professional relationships; interact effectively with diverse constituencies and a willingness to collaborate and maintain confidentiality when required.
9. Ability to work well both individually and as a part of a team in a collegial, respectful, and professional manner
