Your Role: As a Project Support Analyst, you will assist NYCEDC Project Managers, primarily within facilities management and construction management, including compliance items, contract management and payment processing.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Facilitates the compliance process to ensure that all consultants and contractors are in compliance with Responsibility Determination and insurance requirements prior to contract execution and payment
  • Maintains logs for document control on all facilities management and construction contracts
  • Manages proposal and bid openings for Asset Management projects
  • Prepares registration packages for submission to the Budget department
  • Accountable for complying with, and gathering all appropriate information during Audits, and/or Audit Requests
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience in contract management and/or accounts payable
  • Ability in identifying and responding to work related problems/issues, with an emphasis on independent decision-making skills and the ability to identify when upper management needs to be involved
  • Capability to work in stressful circumstances without oversight when required
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to use standard Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Experience in insurance and Passport (Vendex) compliance
  • Must have propensity for learning and relating various computer programs/databases to the improvement of the procurement process
  • Strong analytical skills with regard to detail and document review
  • Adapts well to changing priorities, deadlines, and circumstances
  • New York City residence is required within 180 days of hire
