As a member of the team, you will work directly with the construction project team to maintain document controls, care for jobsite administrative tasks, and provide field accounting support for all Specialty Projects. This individual will work from the Boldt Waukesha Office and will report directly to the Project Manager(s).

The PC will be immersed in a construction project, with exposure to the professional fields of architecture, engineering, and construction. Communication skills, management skills, basic accounting and data entry skills are required.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Support and maintain the cost management and contract summary documents in Excel.
  2. Manage, distribute and maintain several project documents including job file, construction drawings and subsequent supplemental information, archive folders, FTP site (or sim) and Boldt’s Integrated Project Website (IPW).
  3. Participate in weekly project team meetings, taking notes and distributing for record. Examples of weekly meeting include field team scheduling meetings, project team progress meetings, and site-wide safety meetings.
  4. Coordinate special events, meetings, and jobsite tours.
  5. Monitor and maintain field meeting calendars and schedules.
  6. Support Superintendent’s responsibility to complete daily reports, capturing daily activities, metrics, and records.
  7. Support, facilitate and perform as required, basic accounting and data entry tasks including: contract drafting, execution and administration; accounts payable processing, field payroll processing, vendor invoice/packing slip reconciliation and preparation, subcontractor insurance certificate management, and other tasks to assist accounting professionals.
  8. Assist in safety, quality, and scheduling program efforts. Scope includes collection and entry of Continuous Safety Improvement Cards and Quality Forms as submitted by field staff.
  9. Perform other project specific tasks as requested by the Project Manager. Scope may include assisting with project buy-out, monthly Owner reports, site inspections, Small Wins Program, and project close-out.
  10. Perform administrative activities as requested.


Ability to work independently, as well as be collaborative in a team environment, be organized and detail oriented, goal-oriented, motivational, and persistent. A qualified candidate will be an analytical thinker with the ability to grasp new concepts and assignments quickly; capable of working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment; highly adaptable and professional; with strong interpersonal skills. An articulate and concise communicator (both written and verbal) is desired. The candidate must demonstrate understanding & respect for age group, cultural & religious beliefs of clients, community & staff.


Two-year business/accounting degree or equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. Extensive knowledge of general construction or comparable subcontractor construction experience is preferred. Previous accounting and payroll responsibilities. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Bluebeam, and CMiC (or comparable accounting system) are necessary.
