ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The Program Manager, Onboarding will develop, maintain, and evolve a global sales onboarding program to meet the market-specific needs of the global sales force.

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Enablement, this position necessitates strong program, project management and communication skills, and consistent achievement of defined goals and objectives. As you will work cross functionally across multiple groups, collaboration and communication are key attributes of the ideal candidate.

The high-level, high-impact program this individual will be responsible for will help ensure the success and efficiency of the sales organization, and the success of the candidate will directly affect the overall success of the Wind River.

Responsibilities

  • Curriculum design and develop a role-based 12-week onboarding program complete with learning courses, playbooks, use cases and other key materials to enhance sales productivity and competencies using a 70/20/10 model for learning and development. This program will teach, reinforce, and prove comprehension of the sales new hire and ability to succeed in their role. Roles will include field sellers, inside sales, BDRs, and other revenue-impacting roles as the Wind River Enablement organization grows.
  • Deliver Onboarding events, coordinate the agenda and speakers.
  • Drive Onboarding program logistics, registrations, pre-work assignments, scheduling, and metrics
  • Help to plan and execute a global sales accreditation program.
  • Have joint responsibility for the sales enablement platform, including publishing courses, learning, and reporting on the progress of new learner.
  • Execute a calendar of onboarding training events.

ABOUT YOU

Core Competencies & Demonstrated Success

Dynamic, multi-dimensional, diversely talented. Has the ability to have fun and enjoy the work they do. Preferably experience in Instructional Design, Virtual and Face-to-Face workshop facilitation, and coaching. Learning oriented with strong business acumen. Drives work to complete with solid project and program management skills.

  • Experience creating and running onboarding learning programs using a 70/20/10 model that not only measure completion, but the learner’s ability to do the job. This includes developing the learning content and assets to support a new hire learning curriculum, and developing and evolving role-based learning curricula to meet organization specific needs.
  • Ability to define KPIs and metrics for the onboarding program that will measure the value and impact of the program, and shorten the overall time to productivity of the new hires.
  • Experience with key instructional design authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Camtasia Studio, Adobe Captivate) and modern enablement learning platforms (MindTickle, Allego, Lessonly, etc)
  • Expertise with blended learning and active learning instructional design and development.
  • Proven ability to analyze and work with data.
  • Ability to manage conflicts and build strong relationships with stakeholders

Qualifications

  • 5 years of sales enablement experience or onboarding program management experience including program design, implementation and measurement for a software or cloud vendor.
  • Strong organizational skills with an understanding of sales enablement, sales methodologies and sales process.
  • Ability to quickly grasp and understand Wind River’s business, sales model, consultative selling methodology, platforms, and services.
  • Utilizes relevant project management tools, systems, and applications.
  • Experience with presenting at all levels, up to the C-suite.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to effectively motivate teams to produce quality material within tight timeframes.
  • Experience with managing global cross-functional teams.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
