The College of Social Sciences Social Work at Eastern Washington University invites applications for a full time Program Coordinator housed on the Cheney campus for their Psychology Department.

Under general direction, this position is responsible for coordinating specialized program operations for the Psychology at Bellevue College Program and the EdS School Psychology (Online) Program (Department of Psychology). In this capacity, the position will also provide support to the Directors, coordinate special projects, conduct training, and provide technical, administrative, and student services support. Position will exercise independent judgment and discretion relating to students in regard to program policies, guidelines and contracts and in implementing, interpreting and applying program procedures and policies. Position will independently advise students, staff and the public regarding the program and the University, engaging in recruiting activities, and act as liaison to local organizations.

In the course of performing the position's duties, this position will have extensive involvement with students, staff, and the public in carrying out program activities, and will coordinate, schedule and monitor program activities to determine consistency with program goals.

Position reports directly to the Director(s) of the Psychology Bellevue Program and the EdS School Psychology (Online) Program.

Eastern Washington University is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer, and applications from members of historically underrepresented groups are especially encouraged.</p> <br /> <p> </p> <br /> <p> </p> <img src="https://analytics.click2apply.net/v/k58NoEFPLW6Jh7A8irKjx"> <br/><br/><strong>Required Qualifications</strong>: <ul> <li>High school graduation or equivalent <span class="caps">AND</span></li> </ul> <ul> <li>Two years experience providing complex program support services involving students beyond entry level support work</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Strong computer skills demonstrated by two years successful full time work experience using a variety of software programs and working in website development and maintenance;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Two years full time work experience maintaining both manual and electronic records and files;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Two years full time work experience demonstrating success handling a high volume of customer contact and providing customer service; to be considered qualifying, experience must include communications with a wide variety of different kinds of customers, such as other agencies, practicum and internship placements, professionals in the community, internal staff/managers/administrators, students, applicants; and communications must include both verbal/telephonic, email, and written correspondence; high volume means receipt of an average of 100 customer contacts on a daily basis to include email, telephone calls, visitors, etc.;</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Two years full time work experience with demonstrated success in the ability to successfully handle a demanding workload with overlapping deadlines and which required great attention to detail, strong communication skills, perseverance, initiative, and ability to function equally well taking direction and working independently, and in an environment characterized by interruptions throughout the work day.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Must have transportation, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Demonstrated ability to apply a culturally responsive and flexible approach that is supportive to the diverse needs, including universal accessibility, of our students, faculty, staff and the public.</li> </ul> <br /><br /><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong>: <ul> <li>Two or more years college coursework</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Two or more years work experience in a higher education environment involving student support services</li> </ul> <ul> <li>At least one year experiencing using Canvas, EagleNet, Banner, and other university administrative systems, or equivalent</li> </ul> <br /><br /><strong>Other Skills and Abilities</strong>: <ul> <li>Flexibility</li> <li>Collaboration</li> <li>Communication</li> <li>Teamwork</li> <li>Time Management</li> <li>Attention to Detail</li> </ul> <br /><br /><br /><br /><p>PI113988201</p>
