The Product Manager liaises closely with Customers, Business stakeholders, Product & Project Managers and Development teams to coordinate, prioritize and communicate value driven deliverables to support business goals. Product Owner role must have an innate ability for conveying a vision of what needs to be built to the Scrum team and to work with the team and stakeholders to see that vision through.

Essential Duties:

  • Work closely with customers and business stakeholders to define and prioritize (& re-prioritize) the product backlog and product roadmap based on business and customer feedback, market changes, business priority and available resources.
  • The Product Owner possesses an in depth knowledge of company goals, product strategy, objectives of the product line, and how our customers interact and use the products.
  • Actively manage stakeholder requirements and expectations through each sprint or project while truly owning the product vision and release plan. Clarify requirements and make timely decisions on execution details.
  • Be the voice of the customer, providing clear goals and use cases driving the incremental value that can be delivered to our customers
  • Creates and maintains the product roadmap while defining feature requests and uses cases that will be delivered to the end-user when the feature is complete.
  • Act as the primary interface for the business with the Scrum Teams. Communicate clearly and often with the Scrum team and collaborate closely with developers as required. Accept or reject the Scrum teams work at the close of each sprint.
  • Collaborate closely with other Product Owners, Product Managers and Project Managers.
  • Analyze product and feature performance through the use of quantitative and qualitative methods
  • Communicate to Customers, Leadership, Customer Success, Support and other stakeholders rollout plans, feature details and bug status updates
  • Other duties/projects as assigned

  • Skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint are required
  • Ability to receive constructive feedback in a professional manner
  • Must have ability to use sound judgement and know when to ask for assistance

Education/Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year experience with software applications, customers, and/or partners
  • Bachelor degree preferred; or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using JIRA and Confluence or other project management tools
  • Experience with software product use and development

Working Conditions:
