Responsibilities

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for assisting in organizing, packing, unpacking and managing of onsite Large Purchase Orders (LPOs) for customer installation. Responsible for understanding the customer order in collaboration with the Sales Representative to assemble, unpack, train and install at the customer site. Performs business process analysis, consultation, design, implementation, deployment, and documentation.

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

  • Arrive at Customer site in coordination with sales team member and LPO
  • Coordinates LPOs with Representative regarding customer requirements for purchase order once received dependent on order size, makeup and specific customer site needs.
  • Perform pre assembly functions as needed within both operations and or customer requirement installation site.
  • Maintain appropriate knowledge of Aesculap SterilContainer systems as well as Aesculap Instruments and products.
  • Inventory to assure all instrumentation and SterilContainer ordered arrive correct and good condition.
  • Assist or unpack LPO orders and perform pre- assembly for next steps to include washing and introduction into the customer reprocessing cycle.
  • Maintain LPO set-up records, training records and submit to the Customer Sterile Processing Department (SPD) Manager and Sales Representative.
  • Provide IFU and daily use information to SPD Supervisor, Manager and Sales Representative on an as needed basis for the specific products
  • Monitor travel and entertainment expenses as well as any other costs for setup regarding each project and report monthly.
  • Assists in documenting customer requirements and configures applications to meet customer-specific business processes.
  • Interfaces with customers during design and deployment of business solutions.
  • Assist in managing solutions through deployment, training, and hand-on activities.
  • Assess installation patterns and make recommendations to improve efficiency of LPO shipping and installs to both the St. Louis and Sales Teams.
  • Must be able and willing to travel up to 75%
  • Work occasional weekends as required
  • Collaborate with Aesculap SAM program to identify opportunities
  • In collaboration with the Sales Representative organize and setup system for ordering SterilContainer disposable supplies or replacement instruments.
  • Assist in updating and or maintaining Sterile Processing department set documentation in customer or other instrument management software when applicable
  • Responsible for assisting in documenting additional product needs and returning all incorrect or exchange inventory to Aesculap in St. Louis
  • Participate in presenting educational information on LPOs purchased by customer
  • Identifies own areas of development and seeks opportunities for personal and professional growth
  • Provide excellent customer service to all customers
  • Must comply with applicable ISO and FDA regulations
  • Must embody the Companys Vision, Mission and Values
  • Other duties may be assigned

Secondary or peripheral job functions:

  • Use appropriate process and forms to obtain additional instrumentation or replacement instrumentation as needed to correct order
  • Have a basic understanding of the Aesculap SAM program and process to identify and report customer SAM opportunities
  • Assists Operations Team as needed

Language and mathematical skills; reasoning ability:

  • Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.


Qualifications

Expertise: Qualifications-Experience/Training/Education/Etc

Required:

  • Requires a High School Diploma/GED
  • Two year experience required in the Sterile Processing Department
  • Current IAHCSMM or CBSPD certification required.
  • Email, excel, word intermediate skills required, PowerPoint is preferred

Desired:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
