Health Care Logistics has a Career Progression Program where Product Group Account Managers can develop themselves to be promoted into higher responsibility positions.


 


PRIMARY FUNCTION


The Product Group Account Managers primary function is to promote, prospect, sell and conduct follow up on Health Care Logistics assigned Product Categories.


 


RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Primary responsibility is to grow sales of assigned Product Categories. Example: Carts, Cold Storage, Unit Dose, or technology platform.

  • Pursue the lifecycle of the sale from beginning to end. Including generation of leads with current customers, prospecting new customers, demoing products via webinar or in person, providing quotes, closing sale, installing and maintaining continual relationship with users to keep them actively using

  • Continuous contact with customers by phone, email, tradeshows, demonstrations, and onsite visits

  • Receives customers calls, faxes and emails and provides quotes and/or information about products & services; processes concerns/problems; and enters orders using company software.

  • Responsible for prospecting for leads by direct customer interaction and leads generated by Account Managers and Health Care Logistics marketing efforts

  • Communicate with Sales Management team on customer feedback

  • Provides input to Marketing Group for marketing material as needed

  • Report to Sales Management on current and potential clients on a weekly basis

  • Assist in training sessions for other salespersons for better promotion of assigned products

  • Attends and participates in sales strategy meetings as needed

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the National Sales Manager and the Executive Director of Sales 



REQUIREMENTS



  • Preferred Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent education and experience

  • Self-motivated, with ability to produce high activity

  • Strong time management skills

  • Strong Technical background

  • Ability to travel between 20% to 50% per month.

  • Possesses 3 5 years of sales related experience

  • Must have ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint at a high level

  • Demonstrate the ability to think both analytically and creatively

  • Possess strong problem-solving skills

  • Maintains a high level of accuracy

  • Possesses spelling skills necessary to perform data entry at an acceptable productive rate

  • The ability to communicate confidently, clearly and effectively on the phone, in person and in front of groups

  • Inbound/Outbound phone work:  Requires ability to continually sit with frequent hand use and finger dexterity.  Continuous ability for near/far vision and hearing.

  • Customer Visits, Travel, Trade shows:  Frequent standing/walking/lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs. without assistance.  Occasional hand use, arm reach; need to kneel/squat.  Continuous ability for near/far vision and hearing.
