As the Scientist for this largely laboratory-based position, you will be primarily responsible for:
  • Performing experiments in a phase-appropriate Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) setting
  • Generating robust and reliable data
  • Organizing and reporting data in validated systems to support clinical and toxicology studies for biologics
  • Primary focus on performing cell-based bioassays (as well as binding- and immuno-assays) with an understanding of potency and impurity testing and analytical skills
  • Utilize electronic systems and perform data integrity checks
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives in the group and team-leadership


Basic Qualifications

Doctorate degree

OR

Master's degree and 4 years of Scientific experience

OR

Bachelor's degree and 6 years of Scientific experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Cell-based assay experience including cell culture maintenance, reagents/media/buffer preparation and analytical testing
  • Experience working in a GMP environment
  • Previous experience managing teams and / or leading projects
  • Self-motivated individual who is able to work under minimal supervision
  • Great communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to adhere to timelines and work in a highly regulated environment
  • Familiarity with GMP laboratory and documentation practices
  • Previous experience and ability working in a matrixed, detail-oriented team environment
