Vetsource provides innovative pharmacy, technology and business services to thousands of veterinary practices across the United States. Our human-grade pharmacy offers products sourced directly from the manufacturers and shipped to clients' front door.

General Summary:

The Practice Success Coach is responsible for educating veterinary practices on the Vetsource platform of services, driving strong loyalty and continued growth. This position will partner closely with the account managers and related stakeholders. This role will leverage veterinary industry experience and technological acumen with excellent presentation, coaching, and problem-solving skills to help veterinary clinic staff utilize the platform and related partner services. Coaching will take place primarily on-site, so extensive travel and the ability to effectively train and influence all levels of staff in the veterinary practice is critical. The successful candidate will have a significant impact on the company's overall mission and growth. This is a remote work position for this territory.

Essential Duties:

Included, but not limited to:

Training and coaching (in-person and virtual)

  • New customer training - educate to build trust and confidence. Be the face of the organization.

  • Existing customer training - drive customer engagement to increase use of HD (Home Delivery) platform

  • Opportunity Identification - share leads with appropriate account managers

  • Provide future contact points for ongoing support and communication

Territory Management - plan and execute a strategic territory cadence to meet critical customer needs.

  • Leverage appropriate marketing materials and promote in clinic branding of Vetsource

  • Educate practice staff to gain immediate adoption of the HD platform and drive growth in existing accounts

  • Support and impact corporate groups in various mediums as identified by the priority matrix

  • Collaborate and coordinate with Vetsource stakeholders (sales, marketing, national accounts, and accounts owners) to prioritize field visits

  • Liaise with Corporate partners and maintain knowledge on (manufacturer) partner promotions

  • Participate in regional and national trade shows


  • Timely and accurate use of Salesforce Automation/CRM tools

  • Timely submission of expense reports

  • Follow company-standard performance review processes

  • Provide regular updates on progress and challenges via Level 10 meetings

  • Attend and contribute to scheduled meetings

  • Knowledge of veterinary practice operations or management is preferred

  • Excellent computer skills are required; experience using email, instant message, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, as well as the ability to learn how to navigate unfamiliar systems or programs quickly; ability to use multiple programs at once

  • Proven track-record of account retention

  • Understanding of sales performance metrics

Supervisory Responsibilities: None


  • Bachelor's degree or associate equivalent required

  • Experience in a related field may be considered in lieu of degree

Preferred Experience:

  • Possess a minimum of three (3) years veterinary clinic experience

  • Leadership or management background

  • Experience delivering software and educational content to groups

  • Experience diagnosing and solving technical issues

Special Working Conditions:

  • Travel up to 60% (local, regional, national)

  • Environment where animals may be present
