WHO SHOULD APPLY?

The SafeMeasures operations team is seeking an analyst to work with clients of SafeMeasures, Evident Change's state-of-the-art data reporting service for social service agencies. We are looking for a creative, resourceful self-starter who will be responsible for collecting and coordinating reporting requirements from client agencies, documenting those requirements, and answering questions from clients and analysts. Our work requires organization, problem-solving and facilitation skills, and a commitment to addressing complex social challenges for more effective and equitable systems for everyone.

In Madison, Wisconsin, where Evident Change is headquartered, the annual salary range for this position ranges from $43,000 to 46,000, based on a number of factors, including experience. Because Evident Change approaches compensation using a geographic differential, compensation may vary from this range, depending on where an individual lives. We also offer great benefits that you can customize to fit your needs, including a monthly stipend to support our work-from-anywhere culture.

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL WORKWEEK LOOK LIKE?

Get ready to:

  • Interact with clients to explain reports, troubleshoot issues, and address requests;
  • Research and analyze policies, procedures, and legislation related to child welfare and juvenile justice in order to create tailored reports for clients;
  • Determine requirements, develop methodologies, and ensure quality for SafeMeasures reporting;
  • Write and troubleshoot basic XML configuration files; and
  • Facilitate client meetings to discuss reporting and project status.



WHAT QUALIFICATIONS DO YOU NEED?

  • Demonstrated experience multitasking with attention to detail, organization, and time management.
  • Demonstrated experience following standard practices and procedures, receiving general instruction and supervision, and contributing to projects and initiatives.
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness in problem solving to triage issues and determine the best course of action and initiative to learn new skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills; strong cross-culture communication and sensitivity skills.
  • Bachelor's or equivalent experience in social work, social science, public policy, or law preferred; other areas of study considered and/or lived experience working in or being a client of a social service system (child welfare, foster care, juvenile justice, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook applications.
  • Ability to work from the Madison office to allow for in-person training three times a week.
  • If remote, ability to travel to the Madison office at least once per quarter.
  • Commitment to equity, social justice, and personal and professional development in these areas.
  • Comfort working with people who have diverse backgrounds and cultural identities.

Additional assets include:

  • Familiarity with HTML/XML/CSS and SQL is strongly preferred;
  • Familiarity with analysis and reporting and prior experience with data reporting is preferred.
