The Partner Development Supervisor is responsible for growing revenue for the company. Primary responsibilities are to manage and develop TI Partners & Affiliates in order to maximize profit for TI which includes training, building, and deploying strategic processes as you deem necessary for utmost partner performance. The role is also responsible for traveling to current and potential partners and affiliates to conduct training, sales calls, complete presentations when necessary, progressing opportunities through the various phases of the sales process and any additional responsibilities related to closing the sale. Additionally, this position may be asked to perform special projects, cross-train in other areas and assist in various ways to the success of Transportation Impact and any subsidiaries. Other responsibilities may be added as the position grows. 


This position is preferably located at our HQ in Emerald Isle, NC. Relocation will be considered.   



  • Train and enable partners and affiliates to effectively communicate the value proposition through thorough strategic training utilizing company resources, presentations and CRM and any other resources you deem appropriate.   

  • Develop and enable partners and affiliates to achieve yearly KPI goals. 

  • Develop and perform annual partner evaluations. Evaluate partners and affiliates sales techniques. Develop and deploy partner improvement plans as needed in your judgment. 

  • Set expectations and make recommendations for future engagement with partners. 

  • Build and implement business processes, policies and plans to enhance partner and affiliate performance. 

  • Plan and manage partner, affiliate, and client business portfolios in line with company goals. 

  • Respond to and follow up regarding partner and affiliate inquiries using appropriate methods that in your discretion are consistent with company expectations. 

  • Manage and record partner and affiliate, customer and prospects contact activities using tools and systems including but not limited to Microsoft office suite and Salesforce, and keep relevant information held in these systems up to date. 

  • Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable TI business and sustainable relationships. 

Preferred Education and Experience: 

  • Preferred Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience 

  • Experienced with C-Level B2B sales and account management. 

  • Parcel and/or Freight experience is high valued.  

  • Must demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Possess excellent phone etiquette & presentation skills. 

  • Ability to answer partner, affiliate & clients questions and successfully resolve issues and/or negotiate matters related to the sale and/or client.  

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business contracts. 

  • Ability to analyze and calculate figures such as discounts, proportions, and percentages.   

  • Ability to apply basic algebra.  

  • Thorough knowledge of MS Windows and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.). 

  • Must be able to appropriately exercise independent judgment. 

  • Must be able to successfully develop and manage partners and affiliates. 

  • Must demonstrate outstanding organizational skills. 

  • Possess the ability to multi-task in multiple software systems (Salesforce, Outlook, GoToMeeting, Teams). 

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variable in situations where only limited standardization exists. 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work 


This is a full-time position. Participation in tradeshows, sales meetings and VIP events is required. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required. Moderate travel to prospect and/or client locations. This position is preferably located at our HQ in Emerald Isle, NC. Relocation will be considered.
