POSITION TITLE: ORDER MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

REPORTS TO: TEAM LEAD, ORDER MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position works closely with the Inside Sales group to ensure accurate information is received from the customer so orders can be entered into SAP. The position also requires contacting the customer to get more information, providing order updates, working with Analyst and Data Integrity teams to resolve part issues, and managing the parts inbox to distribute orders and quote requests to the Inside Sales group.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Entering and updating orders in SAP
  • Responding to incoming customer phone calls and emails
  • Contacting customers via phone calls and emails
  • Working with Internal departments on customer issues and follow-up
  • Working in a team environment
  • Other duties as assigned


EDUCATION: 2-year college degree or high school diploma plus relevant work experience.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of two years experience in the customer service field.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to multitask between multiple computer screens and programs
  • Typing skills of 50 wpm or better
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of SAP or equivalent business systems
