About The Role:

As a Network Security Engineer, you will work in conjunction with the security engineering team to design and develop network and security infrastructure solutions to resolve business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards both in an on premise and in cloud provider environments. You will work on assignments involving moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. This role requires strong working knowledge of on premise and cloud networking technologies along with experience with inline security solutions such as next generation firewalls (NGW), web application firewalls (WAF), network access control (NAC), cloud access security brokers (CASB), and single sign on (SSO) technologies.

What You'll Get to Do:

  • Support and administration of information security protocols and products including, but not limited to; ARC's next-gen firewalls, email filtering and security, WAF (Web Application Firewalls), authentication and SSO (Single Sign-on), NAC (Network Access Control), CASB (Cloud Access Security Broker), and cloud infrastructure security solutions.
  • Support ARC's layer 2 and Layer 3 network infrastructure (routers and switches), including but not limited to, VLANs, routing, equipment software upgrades, connections to cloud technology providers, and VPN solutions for internal and external partners.
  • Ensure compliance with ARC's policies and procedures, payment card industry (PCI) standards, and international organization for standardization (ISO27001) standards; assesses local (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) environments security posture and topology, reviews security relevant documentation, and preparing papers discussing results of analysis to help protect and secure ARC data, infrastructure, and systems and educate stakeholders on possible threats. This involves collaboration with other teams and other departments.
  • Documenting of current in place systems and how to best provide support for them.
  • Provide after-hours support when needed.


You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field (will accept military and or additional years of work experience in lieu of degree)
  • 4+ years of experience required
  • 1+ years of AWS, Azure, GCP, or other cloud experience securing, designing and supporting large scale environments
  • 3+ years supporting Security infrastructure and solutions
  • 3+ years of supporting Network Equipment
  • 3+ years supporting wireless deployments
  • Experience with NGF,WAF,NAC,CASB,MFA,SSO
  • Experience in Python or some other language to help with automation
  • Use of API technologies to support 3rd party integrations
  • Strong Cloudformation hands on skills
  • Experience integrating new technologies with existing technologies.
  • Accustomed to working in a "zero trust/least privilege" security environment
