Summary/Objective
The Network Engineer is to support the organizations Office 365 environment operating on the Azure platform, provided Help Desk network support and overall network administration.
Essential Functions
Network Administration Implement best practices and maintain systems as needed.
Network Topology Document current systems in Visio or other software and update as needed.
Security Implement best practices and maintain systems as needed.
Patch Management Review and maintain patches
VMWare Implement best practices and maintain virtualized environment as needed.
Risk assessment Participate and provide feedback in reducing the overall risk of the organization.
IT Audits Participate and review findings and provide recommendations.
IT Committee Prepare necessary reports as needed.
Hardware Assist in keeping equipment running, see that patches and firmware are current, and stay abreast of technology changes. Install new PC and workstations. Install new printers. Track and report on any changes.
Domain Administration Keep track of registered domain names and see that renewals are done. Verify that website changes are tracked and that content is accurate and links are valid. Verify that no fraudulent or potential alternative sites are active.
Active Directory Add users and reset passwords, maintain security groups and access rights. Verify terminated or inactive employees are disabled and removed from the system
Office365 Add users and maintain groups, implement aspects of office365 as needed using best practices.
Microsoft Azure Administration implement and maintain aspects of Azure hybrid environment as needed using best practices.
Support Provide technical support to staff as needed.

Building relationships, both internal to the bank, as well as with clients
Knowledge of Document Management software and document management techniques, and use of Adobe Acrobat.
Advanced computer skills, including Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook

Excellent organization, planning skills; time and project management.

Required Education and Experience:
BS Computer Science or related field.
Microsoft Azure Certification or related certification.
Office 365 Certification or related certification.
Preferred Education and Experience
5 plus years of information technology system management.
Knowledge and experience of Office 365 and Microsoft Azure Administration
Proficiency with Document Management software and document management practices
