Arnold & Porter is seeking midlevel patent litigation associates to join the Intellectual Property & Technology Practice Group in our Denver, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, or Washington, DC office.

The Intellectual Property & Technology Practice Group is made up of 140+ attorneys who advise clients along the life cycle of their most important assets—spanning patents, copyrights, trademarks, rights of publicity, trade secrets, and related issues. Our Patent Litigation team combines proven trial and appellate experience, strategic approaches, and technological knowledge to enforce and defend our clients' patent rights, particularly in the life sciences and technology industries. Attorneys work on matters for clients such as Adobe, Boston Scientific Corporation, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Crocs, GE, Google, Motorola, Novartis, Pfizer, and Samsung.

Qualified applicants for these positions must have a minimum of three years of prior work experience in patent litigation in district court and/or ITC proceedings; strong research, writing and analytic skills; an ability to work independently and creatively; as well as an ability to work successfully as part of a team. A degree in Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Software Programming, or a related field is required. Applicants with some degree of familiarity with software coding are preferred. All applicants should have excellent academic credentials and references.

Applicants must currently be licensed, or currently eligible to become licensed, to practice law in the jurisdiction(s) where they apply.
