(Currently working remote but will return to office - must be willing to relocate or currently live in the Chicagoland area)

General Overview

The Membership Growth Specialist is responsible for administering, evaluating, monitoring and promoting web based lead generation programs to support the associations membership retention and recruitment efforts.


You Will Have

  • Bachelors degree; preferably in a marketing or social sciences research-oriented field. 

  • At least 3-5 years of Non-profit association, marketing or sales experience 

  • Built and managed sales funnel-based membership or customer acquisition campaigns

  • Experience with Association Management Software and/or Customer Relationship Management systems.

  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft software (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and email broadcast systems.

  • Navigating social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Vimeo, YouTube, and Instagram.

You Will Be Responsible For

  • Managing the process for initial screening, response, and tracking of all leads submitted via Rotary Internationals web site.

  • Measuring and reporting on lead generation and conversion results regularly.

  • In collaboration with the Membership Resources Specialist, developing audience specific program resources and promotional materials. 

  • Working closely with New Channels and Growth Product Owner to communicate business needs and perform acceptance testing of product enhancements.

  • Working with Business Intelligence, CRM, and Email Marketing teams to collect and connect data across platforms to drive deeper insights.

  • Working with the membership and marketing teams to create, execute and evaluate campaigns to drive key metrics, including tool adoption, lead generation and conversions.

  • Building compelling, data driven member journeys across the membership lifecycle.
