The Marketing Senior Manager of Strategy & Operations will report to the KYPROLIS Marketing Executive Director. This individual will support the strategic plan and operational needs for KYPROLIS including business performance, sales forecasting, budget oversight, marketing operations activities, brand planning leadership, and life-cycle management support. This role will be actively involved in helping to grow a product in a very dynamic disease area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow his/her marketing experience and to be part of a collaborative team committed to driving growth of this important product in Amgen's Oncology portfolio.

Key responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following activities:

Partner with the Marketing Director to lead cross-functional partners in the development of the annual local product strategy (brand plan) to assess customer needs, business opportunities, and the competitive landscape in order to define strategies and behavioral objectives to drive growth for KYPROLIS

Partner with Commercial Data and Analytics to develop insights from market research and secondary data analytics to support the ongoing improvement of the brand strategy and continual development of impactful customer materials and tools

Lead all aspects of process for preparing LE, QBR, and LRP deliverables

Collaborate with market research, finance, and the marketing team to support forecast development

Develop and manage the brand's budget to ensure accurate reporting for finance and expenditures within allotted budget

Collaborate with brand and market research teams to develop business analytics that inform investment decisions and measure impact of marketing tactics

Manage launch planning operations for label expansions, including CANDOR launch- management of launch activities and preparation of Launch readiness reviews

Lead development of materials for periodic business performance reviews and executive strategy discussions

Build agenda for cross functional team meetings

Handle other marketing operations specific for brand marketing team (e.g. label updates, etc)

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree and 2 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Or

Master's degree and 4 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Or

Bachelor's degree and 6 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Or

Associate's Degree and 10 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Or

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Therapeutic area experience and/or launch experience
  • Sales management experience and/or access experience
  • Project management experience across a matrix environment
  • Success in critical analysis and quantitative outputs
  • Ability to lead and influence cross functional teams with diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to produce business results in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of success
  • Ability to analyze a business problem and develop appropriate strategy
  • Previous supervisory management experience
