About the Company:

The vision of JSX is to provide simple and joyful air travel - reigniting the lost wonder and exhilaration of flying. JSX launched service in April 2016 selling daily flights on 30-seat jets between major West Coast destinations. By coupling the ease, speed, and convenience of the private flying ground experience, with the flight frequency and fares of commercial airlines, JSX has quickly grown in both size & popularity and today, offers over 300 flights between private terminals on the West Coast. In addition to the extreme efficiency and time savings due to the elimination of airport lines and hassles, JSX offers a superior onboard customer experience with complimentary cocktails, snacks, beverages, and business-class legroom at every seat within its beautifully appointed E135s. Headquartered in Dallas, TX, and backed by major investors including JetBlue and Qatar Airways, JSX is poised to significantly expand its fleet and footprint in the coming months and years. About the team (Airport Services):

The Concierge Team must be JSX brand ambassadors at all times by efficiently and professionally assisting our customers; be it face to face with customers, or when communicating via phone and email. The team manages and facilitates check-in, boarding, and baggage management with error-free accuracy. Verify customer Identification in accordance with all regulatory and company requirements to ensure federal and secure flight compliance. Ensuring customers experience a flawless trip, the concierge team must execute clear communication with the downline stations and flight crews in a timely manner.

About YOU:

As a successful candidate, you will strive to ensure our customers have an effortless and seamless experience, while also ensuring the lounge is in tip-top shape & fully stocked with amenities. You will act as a team player and must be willing to receive and offer directions to team members with grace. On-time performance & strong attention to details are imperative to this role. Strict adherence to time/attendance and appearance standards are required. To give our customers a reliable, joyful, and seamless experience from highly capable and committed crewmembers who love what they do. The manager ensures safety, regulatory compliance, budget/cost, and productivity achievement, and rigorous process execution through Airport Supervisors and Concierges. The Manager is ultimately responsible to set his/her stations up for success, effective execution, and continuous improvement in the short and long term.

Essential Requirements:

  • Intermittent physical activity including bending, reaching and prolonged periods of standing
  • Ability to occasionally lift 75+ pounds
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts including early mornings, late nights, holidays and weekends
  • Participate in initial and random drug and alcohol screenings in accordance with DOT and FAA guidelines
  • Four-year degree in business management
  • 5 years of Airport Operations Experience
  • 3 years of prior supervisory or managerial experience
  • Must be able to travel often

Important Safety Requirements:

  • All Airport Services Team Members are trained as Ground Security Coordinators (GSC)
  • Monitoring of operational environment to detect changes that affect Safety and notifying leadership as needed
  • Review and ensure compliance with all updated to policies to include, Safety Alerts, Learning Notices, changes to procedures, changes to regulatory standards and local regulatory guidance
  • Ensuring personal readiness to conduct safety-sensitive duties at all time and the proactive identification of fatigue, stress or other factors that may prevent a safe execution of duties and removing themselves from duty
  • Responsible to ensure personal compliance with all DOT requirements regarding Drug & Alcohol
  • Responsible for Risk Acceptance and Risk-Mitigation approval for Low risk as outlined in the SMSM. Responsible for the identification of potential safety issues, security threats, risk assessment of changes as needed and in commissioning, directly participating or conducting analysis as needed to support decision-making
  • Other SMS Responsibilities as outlined in the JSX Safety Management System Manuals
