About the role:

The Manager, Sales Training Development role is responsible for the development of sales trainings in Business Area Service. This role collaborates with BA Service Management teams to identify sales training needs, defines essential knowledge, skills and behaviors required throughout the BA Service sales organization and oversees the development of training using the appropriate and innovative learning methodologies. This role will produce a high-quality global training curriculum, designed to have direct impact on sales performance and productivity. Ideal candidates will have experience creating interactive live and online training, combine with personal sales experience.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Identify current sales training programs within the regions and leverage them into a harmonized global training curriculum
  • Create a harmonized global training curriculum for sales and sales management within Business Area Service
  • Partnering closely with the regions to create sales training resources (videos, slides and documentation)
  • Identify the best training modality and use the appropriate course design and development tools to create effective online e-learnings, live classroom, or blended trainings
  • Work with global and regional teams for approval of created curriculum and content
  • Training creation includes but not limited to: Commercial Excellence (ComX) training, product trainings, role training, and any other training as assigned by leadership
  • Work with the regions to gain sales best practices - Implement these best practices into training modules to continue the sales development globally
  • Assist regions with new sales training implementation as well as continued support and/or updates as necessary
  • Measure effectiveness of trainings and maintain a continuous improvement methodology on created materials
  • Ensure all learnings are maintained properly in LMS
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Ability to communicate well across diverse teams
  • Good understanding of Konecranes' business acumen
  • Sales management or personal sales experience preferred
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects or training development
  • Ability to navigate learning management systems, eLearning tools and Microsoft office systems preferred
  • Experience creating training content preferred

Other Requirements: 30%-50% domestic and international travel may be required.
