Dura-Line is hiring an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance techs by implementing a successful maintenance program and establishing initiatives as part of our Gainesville, TX team.

This is a critical role, as we depend on working machines, low downtime, and quick turnaround to deliver quality products to our customers nationwide. The entire department is on 24/7. The schedule is M-F 8-hour shift and on-call after hours

Responsibilities and day-to-day activities:
  • Lead and manage the maintenance department - Coordinate all electrical, machining, and tooling inspections & repairs; develop and fabricate new equipment and tooling; upkeep grounds, buildings, equipment, and tools
  • Project management & Lean maintenance process- Develop a program, and ensure training and procedures are followed properly, complete reporting documents, communicate changes, and drive process improvements ideas analysis to achieve industry standard goals
  • Spare part administration and budget responsibilities - Monitor spare parts, equipment inventory, manage the department expenses, request quotes, and place orders as needed
  • Influence and lead the maintenance crew- Coach and work with cross functional teams, communicate & provide training, and collaborate with other plants
  • Develop a new maintenance program and initiatives - Bring firsthand experience, maintenance system software management, research best practices and trends, implement a successful program that includes preventative maintenance within the facility, effective and proactive assistance to all departments, and develop a team
  • Communication and organization skills- Work with various vendors, negotiate rates, transfer technical knowledge to the team, carryout plans/ideas, conduct department meetings, training, and instructions, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of facility machines and equipment in a manufacturing environment - Knowledge of AC/DC motors and drives; light electrical ability; troubleshooting, repair, and installations within the plant
