The School of Social work located in the College of Sciences seeks a Lecturer to serve as Program Director for its Everett community-based Master of Social Work program.

The position is a 85% time, 9-month per year special faculty appointment, plus summer appointment, based on current department policies. Screening will begin September 16, 2019. Position is located on the campus of Washington State University's campus in Everett, WA, and reports to the Chair/Director of the School of Social Work who is based on Eastern's Cheney campus.

Eastern Washington University is a growing and dynamic public university co-located in Cheney and Spokane with an enrollment of over 12,000 students and offers over 100 degree programs including baccalaureate, masters, and doctoral degrees. The School of Social Work is fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education and includes full-time BASW and MSW programs, and part-time BASW and MSW programs located at sites throughout Washington State. The School also includes the Center for Aging Studies, Addiction Studies, Children's Studies and the Alliance for Child Welfare Excellence, a statewide training and educational partnership with the University of Washington and the Washington Department of Children and Family.

The School of Social Work offers diversity and breadth in programs, including full-time BASW and MSW programs, part-time MSW Hybrid programs offered at sites throughout Washington State, plus specialized programs through our Center for Aging Studies, Disability Studies, as well as the Addiction Studies Program. The programs prepare students for generalist and advanced generalist social work practice in both rural and urban communities. Eastern Washington University School of Social Work is fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
