The Department of Modern Languages & Literatures at Loyola University Maryland is seeking a full-time Lecturer of German to teach in the department (4/4 load) for AY 2020-2021. Position duties include teaching in the core language sequence (GR 101-104) and 200-level courses as needed, as well as providing service to the department and University. Successful candidates must have at least a Master's degree or equivalent in German (Ph.D. preferred, area of expertise open), must have native or near-native fluency in German, teaching experience at the university level, and a record of successful teaching and pedagogical innovation.
