Amgen is hiring a Learning and Performance Manager on site at our beautiful Thousand Oaks, California campus.

As part of the Global Development Learning and Performance team, the Learning and Performance Manager is responsible for liaising and collaborating with various groups / individuals involved with Amgen clinical development (e.g. clinical trials) to identify learning and performance needs and develop appropriate solutions.

Primary responsibilities include conducting performance and training needs analyses and developing, managing, and maintaining learning solutions. The successful candidate will partner closely with internal stakeholders to develop and execute learning plans designed to improve performance. Minimal travel expected (

Basic Qualifications

Doctorate degree

OR

Master's degree and 3 years of bio-pharmaceutical clinical product development (clinical research or clinical operations experience obtained at a biotech, pharmaceutical or CRO company

OR

Bachelor's degree and 5 years of bio-pharmaceutical clinical product development (clinical research or clinical operations experience obtained at a biotech, pharmaceutical or CRO company

OR

Associates degree and 10 years of bio-pharmaceutical clinical product development (clinical research or clinical operations experience obtained at a biotech, pharmaceutical or CRO company

OR

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of bio-pharmaceutical clinical product development (clinical research or clinical operations experience obtained at a biotech, pharmaceutical or CRO company

Preferred Qualifications
  • BA/BS/BSc in the sciences or RN
  • Work experience in life sciences or medically related field, including 4 years of bio-pharmaceutical clinical product development (clinical research or clinical operations experience obtained at a biotech, pharmaceutical or CRO company)
  • Previous training experience obtained at a biotech, pharmaceutical or CRO company
