Position Description:

We are seeking a Lead Product Manager to guide the alignment and support of FCSAmerica’s product offerings, data strategy and business goals. The role requires a highly motivated and experienced product manager with a history of building business systems and automation at scale. In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide our lending systems from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. 

Our product teams work closely with creative and skilled engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve how we serve our customers. As a Lead Product Manager at FCSAmerica, you could be working on new technologies, platforms, customer facing products, and/or enterprise systems. Key Responsibilities 

  • Collaborates with Senior Leadership and Lead Product Managers to ensure alignment and support of the FCSAmerica product offerings, data strategy and business goals. 
  • Lead and influence the evolution of business systems and capabilities in support of the FCSAmerica market delivery strategies:
    • Ensure consistent application of product management discipline across the Associations 
    • Effectively develop and communicate business system roadmaps to leadership, key stakeholders and project teams. 
    • Lead research and development activities to problem solve and make decisions. Activities include: analyzing key KPIs, user insights, market intelligence and outcomes from lean pilots. 
    • Translate insights and create business recommendations that clearly articulate elements of value, ROI, customer experience and market potential. Provide input into the organizations’ prioritization process. 
    • Maintain awareness in the financial and technical industries to identify potential strategic partnerships and evolutions in the lending space. 
    • Coach and guide product managers to pursue delivery of value in alignment to the measurable business goals through iterative/incremental approaches. Includes thinking strategically, with ability to facilitate detail discussions, as needed. 
    • Accountable for the planning and execution of strategic business system implementations:
      • Effectively communicate priorities, set clear/measurable objectives, adhere to governance and operational support framework and actively engage resources needed to achieve business goals. 
      • Steward of key data within the system ensuring appropriate quality, security and access while considering the sources and uses of the data to/from the system. 
      • Lead change management activities to assure successful user transition and maximized derived value. Partner with the change management specialists and other key stakeholders to develop and implement a plan for larger, complex projects. 
      • As needed, serve in the Product Manager role:
        • Coordinate the creation and maintenance of user-centric journey maps and personas. 
        • Ensure maintenance of documentation that supports the business process(s) and reason(s) behind key decisions. 
        • Collaborate with project teams to write user stories, identify test scenarios, ensure appropriate end-to-end scenario testing is completed and sign-off on feature releases. 

          Minimum Qualifications 

          • 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or Technology 
          • 8+ years of product development experience 
          • 8+ years of product management experience 
          • 8+ years of product marketing, digital business strategy, financial analytics, or related experience. 

            Preferred Qualifications 

            • Working knowledge of the broader Financial Services Industry (sales (lending and insurance), credit, business process and customer support). 
            • Strong strategic and innovative thinker 
            •  Highly analytical, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative data to identify behavioral insights and outcome metrics to make decisions. 
            • Proven experience with rapid, iterative design and development processes. 
            • Aptitude for solving complex technical and operational problems while driving multiple priorities and programs and delivering against tight timelines in a dynamic environment. 
            • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information to senior management. 
            • A solid relationship builder and cross-functional collaborator; works effectively up, down and across the organization, able to create clarity and drive focus in complex and dynamic contexts and drive a group to consensus.
