    As Lead Concierge, you will be responsible for providing direction, guidance, mentoring and motivating a team of Concierge Professionals, ensuring client satisfaction and helping to establish best practices across all teams, maintaining quality servicing, while delivering on our key business objectives.  This position will service the needs of the international community predominantly from Middle Eastern countries visiting Mayo Clinic and be dedicated to patient care, taking care of everything from the ordinary to the extraordinary.  You must be fluent in Modern Standard Arabic, as well as English.  This is a full time position, 40+ hours per week and requires flexibility to work varying schedules which will include some weekend shifts.

     

    This position requires an energetic, results oriented professional to lead a group of dedicated professionals providing onsite concierge services.  You will be responsible for supervision of our diverse & multi-cultural Concierge team while you identify barriers to success and address these barriers with solutions to ensure we are successful in meeting internal targets while exceeding our client’s expectations.  Ongoing coaching and development of our Concierge Professionals must be your priority as you manage day to day operations.

     

     Job Responsibilities:

    • Ensuring a consistent experience is delivered across the team.
    • Deliver exceptional customer service.
    • Direct daily operations of onsite concierge to ensure employees have appropriate equipment, inventory and resources to perform their jobs and meet goals and deadlines.
    • Supervise day-to-day work activities by delegating authority, assigning, scheduling, and prioritizing activities and monitoring operating standards.
    • Implement and communicate quality improvements.
    • Identify and respond to our client or guest concerns.
    • Project an approachable and professional image at all times.
    • Collaborate on new ideas and initiatives with team members and management.
    • Consistently provide best in class customer service in a fast paced, structured environment.
    • Inspire and motivate team of concierge professionals to work as a cohesive team.
    • Must display prioritization skills and exercise highly effective time management skills.
    • Able to manage conflict and come to common ground and initiate solutions to improve quality and productivity while monitoring and evaluating team performance.
    • Assists with developing, reinforcing and managing operational standards, policies and procedures.
    • Assists with training and mentoring employees to help them reach their goals.
    • Ensures positive work environment, continuous learning and a high quality of employment experience for the team.
    • Proactively assist concierge team in patient care including delivering hospital and city information, confirming flight details, airport pickup in Circles provided partner vehicle with assigned driver, collecting patient and family information, providing family travel assistance, hospital tours, purchasing and delivering forgotten items and assisting patients in completing paperwork.
    • Sensitive to ethnically diverse patients and understanding diverse cultural norms.
    • Adhere to all Circles fulfillment policies and procedures in delivering an exceptional customer experience.

     

     

    Qualifications:

    • HS Diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • 5+ years of customer service experience, prior front desk, concierge or other hospitality experience is preferred. Healthcare experience strongly preferred.
    • Demonstrated strong MS Office abilities including PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Word, Internet searching and typing.
    • Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills as well as the proven ability to provide quality service in a fast-paced environment.
    • Must be able to read, write and speak in fluent Modern Standard Arabic and English.
    • Sensitive to ethnically diverse patients and understanding diverse cultural norms.
    • Must have knowledge of cultural backgrounds of patients arriving from the Middle East.
