KUTV in Salt Lake City has an excellent career opportunity for a full-time IT Helpdesk to support the Engineering Department on its daily computer and network operations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Provide hardware, software, and basic networking problem diagnosis and resolution for end users via in-person, telephone, email, and instant messaging support
* Respond to telephone calls, emails, instant messages, and assigned tickets from users; create incidents with appropriate support teams as needed and follow up until closure
* Document and escalate problems as necessary to internal second and third level IT support staff via our company incident management system (ServiceNow)
* Respond to and diagnose problems through discussions with users, including problem recognition, internet research, isolation, log captures, resolution, and follow-up steps; Provide level-1 remote desktop support and perform other routine activities based on standard procedures
* Coordinate and manage relationships with other business units and vendors that provide hardware, software, and network issue resolution
* Facilitate physical hardware relocation as users move desks, as well as replacing hardware as upgrades and replacements are deployed

Requirements:
* Associates degree or higher in IT, electronics or computer related field
* 2 years of related broadcast experience
* Remote and in-person support experience necessary
* Technical helpdesk or technical call center experience necessary
* Disciplined, systematic problem-solving skills required
* Windows Operating systems, primarily Windows 10 Enterprise
* Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Skype for Business
* Basic knowledge of Active Directory and account/computer management
* Basic familiarity with ITSM ticketing tools such as ServiceNow
* Support via remote desktop connectivity applications like Remote Desktop, VNC, SCCM
