Overview

The IT Compliance Analyst will help ensure the functions/activities of the IT Infrastructure, InfoSec and Customer Support teams are in compliance with controls and policies set by our Internal Audit department and external auditor(s). Some of these controls will be Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) relevant. The Compliance Analyst will assist in realizing improvements to these processes aimed at compliance, efficiency and scalability.

This individual will maintain awareness of the infrastructure and ITIL domains (Asset, Release and Change Management, and CMDB) and conduct research and oversee risk mitigation activities towards achieving compliance program goals. The Compliance Analyst will be expected to demonstrate flexibility, versatility and the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities at any given time, usually with tight deadlines.



Responsibilities

1. Responsible for reviewing control narratives.
2. Responsible for evidence collection, as requested.
3. Proactively help managers and directors stay compliant with the controls.
4. Assist IT resource for As-Is provisioning issues.
5. Assist Customer Service resource(s) in future-state (To-Be) provisioning solution; engage in the design, implementation, testing and training.
6. Develop and maintain process documentation, workflows and analytics reporting.
7. Actively review and modify application provisioning/access process, helping manage strict guideline for controlling licenses for SaaS software applications.
8. Participate in design, improvement and testing of related tools.
9. Assist in managing IT assets as related to Compliance.



Qualifications

* 3+ years’ experience with Discovery specific processes and procedures or similar media industry experience related to key responsibilities.
* 3+ years’ experience in service oriented role.
* 3 years’ experience analyzing issues, finding root cause and implementing solutions.
* Familiarity with Microsoft enterprise structure; licensing/tooling.
* Understanding and familiarity with infrastructure components such as Active Directory, Oracle and SQL Server databases, Java Application Server, role based access to sensitive applications, Asset Management.
* Familiarity with ITIL v3; Foundation level certification preferred.
* Ability to work closely with people at all levels of the organization and facilitate the implementation of corrective action as needed.
* Demonstrated experience in use of metrics aligned to corporate KPI's and benchmarks to drive process improvement.
* Legal right to work in the United States.
