The Investor Relations Executive is responsible for oversight of all aspects of the investor relations function. Works closely with the CEO, COO and SVP of Finance to develop a deep understanding of the Company and effectively communicate necessary financial and strategic information that supports investment decision-making  to both internal and external stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities:
•Leads the global investor relations program, including strategy, operating plan, budget, and the detailed execution of the IR operating plan.
•Manage annual IR calendar and events including conferences; Leads the IR effort to interface with investor community; Support metric-driven targeting of potential new shareholders
•Speaks on behalf of Performant at investment presentations, institutions, individual meetings and discussions, and with the media.
•Leads the collection, analysis, and presentation of investors’ perceptions and opinions, brokerage security analysts’ positions and summaries, relative stock price movements, and periodic ownership analysis; Provide periodic updates to senior leadership in written and oral form.
•Establish and maintain effective relations with sell-side analysts
•Develop conference call materials for quarterly earnings calls (script, press release, slides, Q&A prep)
•Prepare financial analysis on peer group and industry, and prepare benchmark analysis.
•Supports the investors’ decision-making processes through visits to institutions, individual meetings, visits by analysts and investors to Company facilities, and visits with appropriate other senior leaders
•Leads the maintenance and periodic review of the Company’s disclosure policy including website
•Oversees contracts for and directs the capital markets database and intelligence system that supports the investor relations program.
•Leads the creation of the publications of the annual report, quarterly results and other news releases, and IR website section and content. Assists in the development of Company SEC filings, as needed.
•Oversees annual shareholder meetings in collaboration with legal team.
•Understands, in-depth, the Company’s leadership, strategies, operating units, technologies, and financial performance expectations
•Remains current on Performant operations, as well as changes in accounting, technology, and similar subjects.
•Other marketing or strategy related work as needed and assigned to meet business needs
Required Skills and Knowledge:

•Outstanding financial and investment analysis skills, communication skills and presentation ability
•Proven ability to create compelling presentation materials to aid in communication of company strategy and business model to investor community
•A clear and thorough understanding of the financial modeling techniques used by security analysts to project a Company’s operating and financial performance and the resulting valuation for its stock.
•An in-depth understanding of the financial and investment markets, with established relationships in them, and the ability to establish new relationships in new industries quickly
•Strong interpersonal skills, superior intellect, and an outstanding ability to communicate using these qualities and skills.
•An energetic, efficient, and resourceful team player and individual contributor
•Proven ability to develop relationships with industry analysts

Physical Requirements
•Generally, performs work in busy standard office environment (or remote office) with moderate noise level, using computer and phone system (or cell phone)
•Requires ability to read and comprehend information in electronic (computer) or paper form (written/printed), or verbal.
•Requires ability to communicate and exchange information verbally and in writing
•Requires ability to use computer, phone, peripherals and office equipment
•Requires ability to consistently view a computer screen, type, and use a keyboard and mouse
•Requires ability to occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 10lbs.
•Requires ability to work business hours and extended hours for business needs 
•Requires ability to travel at least 15% of time based upon business needs

Education and Experience:

8 - 10 years of investor relations experience in similar role
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field
Experience in recent IPO/emergence environment
In-depth knowledge of Wall Street and the investment community
Conceptual understanding of general business, finance, investment and marketing principles
Strong analytical, communication, writing and presentation skills
Must be detail oriented with the ability to address multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
Ability to work directly with C-level executives 

Performant is a government contractor. Certain client assignments for this position may require submission to and successful outcome of additional background and/or clearances throughout employment with the Company. 

-Must submit to and pass background check. Must not have any Federal or State liens resulting from County, State or Federal tax issues. 
-Must not have any current defaulted student loans.
-Must be able to pass a criminal background check; must not have any felony convictions or specific misdemeanors.
-Must submit to and pass drug screen.
