General Overview
Rotarys office of investment manages the $1.2 billion of assets in various portfolios with different investment objectives and strategies. The Investment Analyst position provides an opportunity to gain experience in a small, flat investment organization. The Investment Analyst position is intended to be a [two-year role] to provide experience in finance and investments, research and analysis of investment managers and strategies, and portfolio construction and portfolio management prior to the candidates pursuit of a graduate degree or other professional opportunity. The ideal candidate will exhibit intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, creativity, and good judgment. The candidate must be capable of working independently, willing to ask questions and capable of distilling and communicating information in an efficient, user-friendly manner. The position will include limited travel opportunities.
You Will Have
- Two-to-five years of relevant experience
- Undergraduate degree from a reputable institution
- Understanding of probability and statistics
- Deep interest in financial markets and investing

You Will Be Responsible For
Research
- Monitor existing portfolio investments combining quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Assist with the identification and due diligence of new opportunities
Create
- Prepare analysis and reports on various financial market topics
- Draft investment recommendations
- Develop material for meetings and presentations
