ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The team you will represent is pivotal to our Aerospace & Defense and Commercial account teams in the Americas. Your contribution in this role will impact the success of the Strategic & Key Account Managers selling into all of our vertical markets. This is an inside sales role which collaborates extensively with specific Strategic & Key Account teams in the field.

Interface & Collaboration

Reporting to the Director of Inside Sales, you will be an integral part of the Inside Account Team, aligned with Strategic/Key Account Managers and Field Application Engineers.

You will collaborate with your Account Managers, Inside Account Executive peers and interface with numerous internal departments (Legal, Export, Trade, Deal Desk, Quote-to-Order, Shipping, Marketing and Demand Generation).

Responsibilities

  • Selling Wind River solutions, software development tools, customer education and professional services engagements
  • Closing renewals, transactional business, and assisting field sales teams to close large, more complex deals
  • Understanding and executing complex sales contracts
  • Prospecting/Researching: Markets, Accounts, Executives
  • Qualifying leads, uncovering prospect's challenges and business needs.
  • Preparing and presenting detailed quotes and proposals
  • Updating account and customer data in Salesforce
  • Collaborating with internal teams at address various aspects of your deals.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of sales prospecting experience in a technology focused corporate environment (software sales preferred)
  • Ability to grasp technical concepts of the Embedded Software industry
  • Ability to lead and close complex deals
  • Experience closing deals up to the $50K range
  • Bachelor's degree
