Full time; Cooper Aerobics. The HR/Recruiting Assistant supports the HR Department in its operations across campus. This role will be heavily involved in the company's recruiting efforts and will serve as the primary administrative support for the HR team, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists with full-cycle recruiting and performs on-boarding for new teammates
  • Performs customer service functions by answering teammate requests and questions
  • Maintains teammate records to include filing, as well as the maintenance and audit of I-9 files
  • Assists with the recruitment and interview process by completing phone screens, scheduling in-person or Skype interviews, conducting employment and reference checks and managing background check process
  • Assists with the benefits process including benefits on-boarding, bill reconciliation, audits and payment
  • Processes all changes in HRIS system; runs reports as necessary
  • Coordinates/tracks training class schedules and other teammate events
  • Processes, delivers and distributes mail
  • Manages campus parking processes
  • Updates HR pages on the company intranet
  • Plans and manages teammate events on campus
  • Assists the HR VP and team on special projects
  • Upholds Cooper purpose and core values
  • Maintains the highest levels of confidentiality
  • Maintains and exhibits a positive attitude
  • Other duties as assigned
